Good guys who love their cars have just got to have their own garages. If they are lucky enough to have the space and budget then they’ll be gunning for a double garage, space enough to park two cars. Or if that’s not the case, one side of the double-spaced garage floor gets converted into a workshop area. And if these guys are working primarily on parts and components, as well as engine overhauls, it is to be expected that they will be making a whole lot of mess.
So welcome to the garage floor blues then. As if these guys had enough work on their plates already. Now they must go clean up the mess they made on their floors as well? Well, yeah, no one else is going to do that for you. But you could still make light work of it. It is a given fact. If you are to be a fine garage mechanic, then daily housekeeping is always going to be a part of your daily garage life. You’d be a good boy if you were cleaning your floors and work areas both before and after doing actual work.
So, good on you if you’re already doing all of that. But, jeez, it can be just so hard. And don’t you wish you could have spent just that little bit more of that extra time tinkering on your workbench or sliding in and out of under your latest patient’s bonnet. Well, you could almost get away with murder once you’ve jacked aside the cracked and stained cement and gone and installed an epoxy garage floor already.
And once you’ve done all of that, you’ll be so glad that you did. So, no more garage day blues for you then, okay?
